Bedford Self Catering Accommodation Cottage

Bedford Country Cottage is found on a farm in beautiful garden surroundings, a short drive from either Bedford or Adelaide, making it highly convenient especially for the Bedford Garden Festival every October or for travellers using the R63 to or from Graaff-Reinet.  The farm is easy to access by car.

The cottage stands apart from the farmhouse, affording privacy to its guests, and has been attractively converted from an old farm outbuilding and retains much of the original character and charm.

Outside, the cottage has a small, shady, garden of its own with an lovely outlook over the main garden.  It is screened off so that guests can feel that it is their own.

The cottage sleeps four persons and is extremely spacious.  There are two double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms with showers.

The main living area is split level with a sitting room on the upper level which is spacious and comfortably furnished and, as a winter bonus, has a fireplace.  There is a kitchenette for your cooking needs as well as a braai in the garden.

On the lower level is an ample dining room which looks out onto the garden.

What better place to come and stay when visiting the Garden Festival, the area in general or when just stopping over on your journey.

Our tariff is eminently reasonable at R200 per person per night self catering and R240 B&B. Lunches and dinners can be arranged at an extra charge, depending on content.

The turnoff to Country Cottage is on the R63 about 6 km from Adelaide and 14 km from Bedford.
